Case Study: The Reformation - The “Christine” Dress
Attached below is a picture of the Reformation’s best selling dress, the “Christine”. While the Christine is very elegant and pretty, there is one slight problem - which my case study aims to solve. The problem is that the dress is not exactly size inclusive in the sense that those who have larger chests are unable to wear the dress due to the bust/top of the dress being too small. My solution is to fix the upper part of the dress by modifying the cup size/height of the neckline so it will better fit everyone including those with larger chests. I’ve also created a few different designs based on the dress and done in similar styles in order to further make the dress more size inclusive by providing a selection of different styles/versions of the dress that will be flattering to various body types.
